Cleaning Tools

You have to take care of your firearms so that when it comes time to use it, in a defensive situation or a practice situation it does not fail you.  I prefer using a cleaner and separate lube when taking care of my firearms.  You will want a surface to clean your firearm on to prevent the cleaning agents, lube and residue from getting on your table or countertop.  Lint free cloths are used for general wipe down.  You will want nitrile gloves to keep your hands clean and away from chemicals and residue.  Long Q-tips allow you to get into those hard-to-reach areas of your firearm.  Get an applicator so that you can apply lube in precise areas of your firearm with precise amounts of lube.  Finally, the lens cleaner is for those who use optics on their firearms.
